Location: Hollywood, Universal Studios and the Pacific Coast.
I went for a wander around Hollywood before joining Trek America's Westerner 3 for 3 weeks of awesome fun. First stop was Universal Studios Hollywood, followed by a trip up the Pacific Coast on the way up to San Francisco.
LA was very disappointing. The whole place is so ridiculously sprawled out. Made a huge change from all the very pedestrian friendly I'd previously been to. Universal Studios was awesome though, particularly Waterworld, which was more spectacular than a lot of actual films I've seen, and this was all being performed live in front of me.
